WASHINGTON (TND) — A Maine woman is celebrating her 103rd birthday and she just so happens to be the oldest lobster trapper in the state. Virginia Oliver started catching lobster off the coast of Rockland when she was a little girl and has no plans of retiring. She also just renewed her lobster fishing license for the 2023 season marking her 95th year hauling traps, her friend told WCSH. The tradition carried on in her family with her four children lobstering just as her late husband had.

But as Summer explains in a clip from HBO's documentary Love to Love You, Donna Summer, the singer was not actually a sultry, sexy seductress.
When Tina Turner died in May, the podcast “Rolling Stone Music Now” paid tribute, calling her “one of the greatest rock and soul singers who ever lived.” The publication’s admiration is not recent. Opinion Columnist

President Joe Biden spent part of his 81st birthday Monday carrying out an annual White House tradition: pardoning two lucky turkeys.
The selected star birds, named Liberty and Bell, both hail from Willmar, Minnesota, the National Turkey Federation announced Sunday.
"Even though Liberty and Bell are from Minnesota, they are named for the famous Liberty Bell in Philadelphia," Biden joked at the pardoning ceremony Monday morning, adding, "These birds have a new appreciation for the word, 'Let freedom ring.
