The Gold Seal of Approval® for Hospital Accreditation

Renown Regional earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Hospital Accreditation for three years. During the review in December, Joint Commission surveyors evaluated compliance with hospital standards related to emergency management, care environment, infection prevention and control, leadership, and medication management. As a result, Renown South Meadows Medical Center received The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval® accreditation for Total Knee Replacement, Total Hip Replacement, and Total Shoulder Replacement. In addition, Renown Hospice achieved a deficiency-free Joint Commission Survey with two best practices identified.
