The Kamehameha Schools Maui girls soccer team got a pair of first-half goals en route to defeating Baldwin 2-1 in an all-Maui Interscholastic League fifth-place game at the Motiv8 Foundation/HHSAA Division I state tournament on Saturday at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex.

Ellie Kapuaala scored in the 35th minute, and Krychalei Loui scored three minutes later for the MIL champion Warriors (12-1-2). Loui also scored KSM’s other goal of the tournament, in a 1-0 consolation win over Waiakea on Friday.

Kena Tihada scored in the 44th minute for the Bears (10-6-0).

In the Division II consolation final, MIL champion Seabury Hall tied with Radford 1-1.

Erika Hammer scored for the Spartans (7-1-1) in the 28th minute before Sadie Schulz tied it up for the Rams in the 58th.
